A multi-blend lubricant for coil tubing operations, QUICK SLIDE CT decreases the coefficient of friction in all water-base fluids, resulting in reduced torque, drag and the potential for differential sticking in the wellbore. It also reduces the tendency for bit and BHA accretion in sticky, reactive shale. Stable in temperatures up to 400°F (204°C), QUICK SLIDE CT is designed for applications in which these conditions are likely, including highly deviated wellbores and wells with high overbalance.

Maximizes transfer of weight to the bit

QUICK SLIDE CT consists of a highly lubricious non-hydrocarbon base fluid with unique wettability characteristics that lower the potential for accretion of “sticky” shale on coil tubing. It also consists of co-polymer beads that act as a mechanical lubricant, embedding in the filter cake in open hole and providing mechanical standoff in cased hole. The beads have a “ball bearing” effect, reducing metal-to-metal and metal-to-rock friction. The combined chemical and mechanical effect of QUICK SLIDE CT improves wellbore conditions in all coil tubing operations.
